EXCLUSIVE: Sky Force actor Veer Pahariya claims he doesn’t look like a ‘typical hero’; recalls struggling sating, “Getting a break is very difficult”

Veer Pahariya, known for his dynamic and stylish personality, is all set to make his debut with the film Sky Force. The film’s trailer created a buzz online, with fans and audiences showering it with praise. In his first-ever interview with Bollywood Bubble, Veer spoke with host Ankita Bhalla about his personal and professional journey. He also shared insights from the shoots of Varun Dhawan starrer Bhediya. The actor spoke about his experience working with Varun Dhawan.

Veer Pahariya on breaking the notion of typical looking hero

Veer continued talking about getting a break in Sky Force, “As I said, I started working in the film industry when I was 17 years old. I explored everything because my end goal was always to be in front of the camera. So, I worked in production, direction, dubbing, rapping, writing songs, and learning music engineering. I’ve also done a lot of shows. But the thing is, as you know, getting a break is very difficult, especially if you don’t look like a typical hero. You know, like how they have that image. I know I look different, and that’s my strength.”

When quizzed about his experience on the sets of Bhediya, Veer Pahariya, “I was working at Maddock Films as an AD, and the shoot for Bhediya had just wrapped up. This was around June or July 2021. At that time, Amar Sir knew I wanted to be an actor, and Abhishek, who is now my director for Sky Force, was an associate on that film. I had done a lot of dubbing for various actors, and spoken lines, and participated in OS shots, including working alongside Kriti Ma’am. They obviously knew about my aspirations.”

Veer Pahariya on working with Varun Dhawan in Bhediya

On his experience working with Varun Dhawan on the sets of Bhediya, Veer only had kind words to say. Veer Pahariya said, “As I gained experience, I was very fortunate to get the opportunity to work with a talented and hungry actor like Varun Dhawan sir. He is incredibly passionate, crazy passionate. He loves what he does, and he is very humble. That’s something to really learn from him. He has been in the game for so many years, yet he remains so humble.”

Alongside Veer Pahariya, Akshay Kumar, Nimrat Kaur, Sharad Kelkar and Sara Ali Khan will be seen in Sky Force. Releasing on 24 January 2025, Sky Force is helmed by Abhishek Anil Kapur, Sandeep Kewlani.
